Papers
Allows you to assign a reviewer to a draft paper. An auto-email will be sent to invite the Reviewer to review the paper, as well as provide information on how to complete the review.
A table of paper listings will appear, comprised of the following fields: Paper number, paper title, author name and the assign reviewer link.
Paper listings are divided into six parts: Papers awaiting
reviewer assignment, papers assigned to reviewer/under review, papers
reviewed awaiting acceptance, papers revision requested, papers accepted
and papers rejected. You can expand all sections by choosing Expand
All from the top of the screen. To close all sections, choose Collapse
All. You can expand/collapse an individual section by clicking on
the plus/minus (+/-) sign next to each section heading.
Assigning a Reviewer
Choose the appropriate track and session.
Click on the "Assign Reviewer" link. This opens to the Assign Reviewers page, and shows the relevant paper information (number, paper title, and author).
Input the Reviewer’s email address.
Click Verify to check if the Reviewer’s information already exists in the database. The form will auto-fill if the Reviewer already exists.
If the form does not auto-fill, complete the account form.
Choose the Assign Reviewer button to assign the Reviewer.
Repeat the steps to assign additional Reviewers to a paper. (An unlimited number of reviewers can be assigned
NOTE: An author can not be assigned to review their own paper. Authors should not assign reviewers to their own paper. If an author is performing the role of Session Organizer or above they will not be able to view the reviewers comments.
Choose the appropriate track and session from the pull-down menu.
Click on the paper number and then the Reviewer tab to review comments made by reviewers.
Click on the button at the bottom of the page, Assign Another Reviewer.
To input a new reviewer, fill in the form to assign a reviewer account. Submit your information.
Removing (Un-Assigning) Reviewers
Choose the appropriate track and session from the pull-down menu.
Click on the paper number and then the Reviewer tab to review comments made by reviewers.
Click on the "Un-assign" link of the reviewer you wish to remove. This will give you the option to remove a reviewer account from the paper.
Assigning Additional Reviewers While a Paper is Under Review
Choose the appropriate track and session from the pull-down menu.
Click on the paper number and then the Reviewer tab to review comments made by reviewers.
Click on the button at the bottom of the page, Assign Reviewer.
Fill in the required information on the next screen.
Choose the appropriate track and session from the pull-down menu.
Click on the paper number and then the Reviewer tab to review comments made by reviewers.
This page allows an organizer to summarize all reviewer comments. This summary will be sent to the author via auto-email and will notify the author if their paper has been accepted for publication.

Add your own comments as needed in the comments box. (You can copy and paste from a word processing file or type them in directly. Please remember when typing directly that your user session is timed to 1.5 hours. If you do not submit your work during your user session, it will be lost.) Use this box to include any additional comments to be sent to the author.
Choose Accept Paper.
Click on a paper number.

Choose Accept/Reject Paper on the right-hand side under Options.

Choose Reject Paper.
Click on a paper number.

Choose Accept/Reject Paper on the right-hand side under Options.

Choose Revision Required.
NOTE: If a revision has been requested the Session Organizer will need to review the changes and then determine if it is acceptable. A revision can only be requested once through the toolbox.
A Fast Track decision allows a Session, Topic, Track or Technical Chair (and all Co-Chairs) to directly accept, reject or request a revision of a paper without assigning it to a Reviewer. Fast Track is also used for papers, which do not require a review (e.g., Short /Forum papers). You will be able to access the paper, make additional recommendations and provide comments to the author regarding the draft paper submittal.
The instructions for Fast Track Review are below.
Choose your track, topic, and/or session.
Click on a paper number and go to the "Reviewer" tab in the new window. Fast Track can be performed on papers that have a status of "Paper Under Review" or "Draft Paper Submitted."
If Reviewers have already been assigned to a paper, please un-assign these Reviewers by clicking on the "Un-assign" link next to the Reviewer's name.
When all the reviewers have been un-assigned or there are no Reviewers assigned, click the "Fast Track" link in the bottom right corner of the window.
Make your recommendations on the next screen (if any), include comments as needed, and accept, reject or request a revision of the paper
You will see the status of papers by session and will be able to see the details by individual paper. For further detail or to act on the status of a paper, click on the paper number. A window will appear that shows the current information and what actions can be taken.
Additional Actions (also accessible under Site Overview)
Moves the paper from one session to another.
Choose the appropriate track and session from the pull-down menu.
Choose on a paper number to access the Paper Detail page.
Choose "Re-assign Abstract/Paper" to move the paper to another area.
Where a paper can be moved is determined by the level of access that the user has.
Session Organizer: Can move a paper to any session they have access to.
Topic Organizer: Can move a paper to any session within that topic.
Program Representative/Track Manager: Can move a paper to any topic and/or session within their division or track.
Group Representative/Track Chair: Can move a paper to any division/track, topic, and/or session in their group or tracks.
Technical Program Chair: Can move a per to any group, division/track, topic, and/or session in the entire conference.
Moves the paper from one session to the previous level.
Choose the appropriate track and session from the pull-down menu.
Click on "Un-assign Abstract/Paper" to move the paper to the previous level. For example: Un-assigning the paper from a session will move the paper out of the session and place it back at the track level.
Allows you to view the submitted draft paper (in PDF format).
Click on a paper number to access the Paper Detail page.
Click on View Draft Paper in the upper right corner.
Allows you to save the draft paper submitted (in PDF format).
Click on a paper number to access the Paper Detail page.
Click on Save Draft Paper in the upper right corner and save the paper to your hard drive.
Papers Not Assigned to Session
You will see the status of papers, which are not assigned to sessions while being able to see the details by individual paper. For further detail or to act on the status of a paper, click on the paper number. A window will appear that shows the current information and what actions can be taken.
View Presenting Author Biography
You can view the bio of the presenting author at any time by clicking on the paper number and then on the Authors tab. (This information can also be found in Toolbar Location: Advanced > Reports. Choose the appropriate track and session and click on the Download link next to Presenting Author Bios.)
